UPESMET 2026 registration begins for MBA admissions; apply by January 20

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, has started the registration process for the UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET) 2026 for admission to its MBA programmes. As per the schedule, the last date to apply for UPESMET 2026 is January 20.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply for UPES Management Entrance Test 2026 on the official website, upes.ac.in. The UPESMET 2026 entrance exam will be conducted online with remote proctoring from home. The exam will be of two hours duration and will be held from 10 am to 2 pm.

Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognised university, along with 50% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12, are eligible to apply for the UPESMET 2026 exam. However, for the MBA in strategic financial management, candidates must have at least 60% marks in their graduation.

Students with a minimum of 70 percentile in MAT / CMAT 2025, 50 percentile in CAT or XAT , 400 marks in GMAT, or 120 marks in NMAT 2024-25 are also eligible to apply. Such candidates will be shortlisted directly for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

UPESMET 2026: Exam pattern

The UPESMET question paper consists of four sections, each carrying 35 questions, for a total of 140 marks.

Students will receive their login credentials (passkey) to appear for the online UPESMET MBA exam on their registered email ID and mobile number one day before the exam.
