UPPSC PCS prelims exam 2021 begins; Latecomers, those without masks not allowed

UPPSC PCS 2021 preliminary exam has begun at 9:30 AM for shift 1. Candidates without masks are not allowed to enter the exam centre.
NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is now conducting the UPPSC PCS prelims 2021 exam in two shifts. The UPPSC PCS 2021 exam is being conducted at various exam centres across the state. As the thermal checkup and proper sanitisation is mandatory, candidates arrived before the reporting time to avoid last minute rush. It is compulsory to carry UPPSC PCS admit card along with valid identity proof.
Candidates had to keep their belongings at their own risk as there is no baggage counter. The UPPSC PCS exam centre gates were closed 15 minutes after the exam commenced. Those who arrived after the gates were closed not allowed to enter the exam hall. Also those candidates who were not wearing masks were also not allowed to appear for the exam.

UPPSC PCS 2021 - Important points to be followed
OMR sheet instructions : Candidates appearing for the UP PCS prelims exam need to follow the instructions written on the OMR sheet. The clear instructions are provided on the OMR sheet regarding how to answer the UPPSC PCS question paper.
Get seated at allotted seat: The seats are allotted roll number wise and the list is available on the main gate. It is only on those seats that they had to sit and give the exam.
Use black/blue point pen: It is mandatory to use only blue or black ball point pen to answer the questions. The answer sheet will be rejected if any other colour will be used.
Signing of attendance sheet: Signing and adding a thumbprint on the attendance sheet is mandatory. Make sure that the admit card of UPPSC PCS 2021 should be signed by the exam invigilator.
Leaving the exam hall before time is not allowed: Candidates are not allowed to exit the UPPSC PCS 2021 exam centre before 11:20 a.m. Even if a candidate finished the paper, they will be allowed to exit after the final bell.
