NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) RO, ARO paper leak allegations have gained traction as aspirants are continuously protesting and demanding for re-exam. A mass of aspirants gathered in the Eco Garden in Lucknow, Prayagraj demanding the cancellation of the previous exam and an intensification of the investigation process. Many aspirants from Patna, Bihar are also protesting the UPPSC paper leak and demanding fresh exam.

Earlier, candidates had shared their agitation on social media, particularly X (formerly Twitter) alleging paper leak and called for exam cancellation. Simultaneously, the commission established an internal committee to investigate the irregularities and opted to involve the Special Task Force (STF) in the examination inquiry.

The UPPSC examination took place on February 11, aiming to fill a total of 411 vacancies for the roles of Review Officer (RO), Assistant Review Officer (ARO).

The paper leak case has now put the future of over 50 lakh youth in Uttar Pradesh at risk. Widespread protests across the state have compelled mainstream media to cover the issue, bringing attention to the significant impact on the affected individuals.

“This movement will grow stronger until the student's demands and justice are met and we will fight together till the end,” a candidate said on X. Based on social media reports, there are allegations that the UPPSC RO, ARO exam paper was leaked to students ahead of the scheduled exam. “Copies of the Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment paper were being sold on Telegram!” an X user wrote.

“Massive protests of lakhs of youth in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar against BJP for Jobs and paper leaks,” another X user wrote. “As per the notice provided by you, after examining the evidence, the recruitment examination will be cancelled,” an X user said, quoting the recruitment board.

“This movement will grow stronger until the student's demands and justice are met and we will fight together till the end,” an NSUI member wrote on X.
