UPSC has activated the CAPF application withdrawal window for candidates not willing to appear in the CAPF 2021 exam.
NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the application form withdrawal window for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) 2021 today. Candidates who don't wish to appear in the exam despite submitting the application form can withdraw their candidature on or before May 18, 2021. In order to withdraw the CAPF application form, candidates will have to visit the official website - upsconline.nic.in . Once the application is withdrawn, candidates will not get an opportunity to revive it later on.
Earlier, the UPSC had released the UPSC CAPF 2021 application form in online mode on April 15 and the last date to register for the exam was May 5.

UPSC CAPF application form 2021 withdrawal: Key points
Candidates are required to follow the following instructions to withdraw the UPSC CAPF 2021 application form.

Visit the official website - upsconline.nic.in

Select the “UPSC CAPF” exam link

Now a new page will open where the candidate will have to provide the details of the registered application along with the registration ID.

Candidates must have the registered mobile number and the email address ready with them while requesting the withdrawal

An OTP will be sent separately to the mobile number and the email address and it will be valid for thirty minutes.

The request to generate the OTP for the withdrawal of the UPSC CAPF application form will be accepted till May 18 ( 5:30 pm).

Once the request for the withdrawal of the application form has been accepted, candidates have to take a printout of the authenticated receipt for future reference.
The commission would send an auto-generated email and SMS after the completion of the withdrawal process. Also, the fees of the UPSC CAPF application form is non-refundable.
