UPSC CDS 1 2024 notification released at upsc.gov.in, fill application form by January 9

NEW DELHI : The Union Public Services Commission released the UPSC CDS 1 2024 notification today, December 20, 2023. Candidates aspiring for Combined Defence Services can apply on the official website- upsconline.nic.in. The last day to fill out the CDS 1 application form 2024 is January 9, 2024.

Candidates applying for the CDS 2024 exam must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Indian Naval Academy candidates in particular should possess a degree in Engineering. Candidates must be Citizens of India, and should be 20 to 24 years of age.

• Photo ID Proof: ID proof can include an Aadhar Card, Voter Card, PAN Card, Passport or Driving License.
• A Scanned Photograph
• Scanned Signature
• Matriculation Certificate
• Enrollment and Degree Certificates
• Banking details (for payment of application fee)

How to fill CDS 1 application form 2024?

Take the following steps to fill out the application form of CDS 2024

• Visit the official UPSC website- upsconline.nic.in to access the CDS application form
• The first step of CDS registration 2024 is to register yourself at the OTR platform
• Fill out the CDS 1 application form 2024
• Upload the required documents as prompted in such a way that the file size should be between 20 to 300 kb.
• Pay the required application fee.
• Submit the CDS 2024 application form.

Aspirants who are interested in applying must also pay a CDS 1 2024 registration fee. Applicants belonging to General and OBC categories have to pay an CDS 2024 application fee of Rs. 200. Candidates belonging to SC/ST Categories and female Candidates are exempt from paying application fees of CDS 1 exam 2024.
