UPSC CDS 2 admit card 2026 out at upsconline.nic.in; exam on September 13

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 admit card 2026 for candidates appearing in the examination. The UPSC CDS 2 2026 admit card is available online at upsconline.nic.in. The UPSC CDS 2 exam 2026 will be conducted on September 13, 2026 (Sunday), across various centres in India.

Candidates are required to download the UPSC CDS admit card 2026 and carry its printout to the examination centre for verification purposes. No physical CDS admit card will be issued by the Commission.

UPSC CDS 2 exam 2026 timings

The CDS 2 2026 examination will be held in three sessions. The timetable is as follows:

Elementary Mathematics

Candidates have been advised to reach the examination venue at least one hour and 15 minutes before the commencement of each session for face authentication, identity verification and frisking.

Entry to the examination venue will close 30 minutes before the scheduled start of each session. Accordingly, entry will close at 8:30 am for the English paper, 12 pm for General Knowledge and 3:30 pm for Elementary Mathematics.

Candidates will not be permitted to appear at any examination centre other than the venue mentioned on their UPSC CDS 2026 admit card.

UPSC CDS 2 Admit Card 2026: Documents to carry

Candidates appearing for CDS 2 2026 must carry the following items to the examination venue:

  • Printed copy of the UPSC CDS 2 e-admit card
  • Photo ID card whose number is mentioned on the e-admit card
  • Three recent passport-size photographs, one for each session
  • Black ballpoint pen for filling the OMR answer sheets and attendance list

Candidates must check their name, photograph and QR code on the UPSC CDS admit card. Any discrepancy should be immediately reported to UPSC through the email address provided in the official notice.

CDS 2 2026 Admit Card 2026: Items prohibited at centre

Candidates are advised not to carry any prohibited items like mobile phones, smart or digital watches, AI-enabled glasses or devices, other electronic gadgets, books, bags and valuables inside the examination premises.

Possession or use of mobile phones and other electronic or communication devices, even when switched off, can lead to disciplinary action. This may include cancellation of candidature, filing of an FIR or police complaint and a ban on appearing in subsequent sessions or examinations.
