NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the notification for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 1 and the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA) 1 exam 2025. The commission has begun the registration process for the UPSC NDA, CDS exam 2025.

Eligible candidates can fill out the UPSC NDA, CDS 1 application form 2025 through the official website at upsconline.gov.in. The last date to register for the exams is December 31, 2024, till 6 pm.
“Registration has to be done only once in a lifetime. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway to filling up the online application for the examination,” the official notice read.
UPSC NDA, CDS 1 exam date 2025
As per the official notice, the UPSC NDA, CDS 1 exam 2025 is scheduled to be held on April 13, 2025, at various examination centres across the country. The commission will open the application correction window after the application deadline.
The window to make changes in the application form will remain open for seven days from January 1 to January 7, 2025. “In case a candidate wants to carry out any change in his/her registration profile during this period, then he/she should log in to the Registration platform and do the needful accordingly,” the notification read.

UPSC NDA, CDS 1 2025: Application fee
To register for the UPSC CDS 2025 exam, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 200. “All female candidates and candidates belonging to scheduled castes (SC) and scheduled tribes (ST) are exempted from paying any fee. However, no fee exemption is available to OBC candidates, who are required to pay the full prescribed fee,” the CDS notification read.
To register for the UPSC NDA 2025 exam, candidates must pay a fee of Rs 100. As per the NDA notification, SC, ST, female candidates, and wards of Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), and Other Ranks (ORs) specified in the official notification are exempted from the payment.
