Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the registration deadline for Combined Defence Services (CDS) 1 and National Defence Academy (NDA) 1 by one day. Eligible candidates can now fill out the UPSC CDS, NDA 1 application form by 6 pm today through the official website at upsconline.gov.in.

Earlier, the last date to fill out the UPSC CDS, NDA 1 application form was December 31, 2024. “Due to some Technical Issues, the closing date for NDA-I and CDS-I Examination, 2025 has been extended till 1800 hrs on 01.01.2025 (Wednesday),” the official notice read.
The UPSC CDS 1 and NDA 1 exam 2025 is scheduled to be held on April 13, 2025. The UPSC CDS 1 recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 457 vacancies and the NDA 1 recruitment drive 2025 will fill up a total of 406 vacancies.
The window to make changes in the UPSC CDS, NDA 1 application form will remain open for seven days from January 1 to January 7, 2025. “In case a candidate wants to carry out any change in his/her Registration profile during this period, then he/she should log in to the Registration platform and do the needful accordingly,” the official notice read.

UPSC NDA, CDS 1 2025: Application fee
Candidates applying for the UPSC CDS 1 exam 2025 are required to pay an application fee of Rs 200. However, female candidates and those belonging to scheduled castes (SC) and scheduled tribes (ST) are exempt from paying any fee. OBC candidates, on the other hand, are not eligible for any fee exemption and must pay the full prescribed fee.
Candidates applying for the UPSC NDA 2025 exam must pay a fee of Rs 100. However, SC, ST, female candidates, and wards of JCOs, NCOs, and ORs are exempt from the fee as per the official notification.
