UPSC CSE Prelims Exam 2025: The UPSC has instructed candidates to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam.

The UPSC has instructed candidates to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam. Candidates will have to reach at least at 9 am for the morning shift and at 2 pm for the afternoon shift.
“No candidate shall be allowed entry into the Examination Venue after closure of the entry. Candidates should also note that they shall not be allowed to appear at any other Examination Venue except the Examination Venue mentioned in the e-Admit Card,” the UPSC exam day guidelines read.
UPSC CSE prelims question paper carries 200 marks. Paper 1 and 2 will be of objective type and each will be held for two hours duration. The general studies paper 2 of the UPSC civil services exam will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%. The UPSC question paper will be set in both English and Hindi mediums.

Candidates are not allowed to carry the prohibited items. The commission will cancel the candidature of those found in possession of barred items
