Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024 tomorrow, July 14. The UPSC CMS exam will be conducted for two Papers, first paper will from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, while the second paper will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The commission has issued the UPSC CMS 2024 admit card on the official website, upsc.gov.in. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the UPSC CMS admit card 2024.
UPSC CMS 2024 exam pattern
UPSC CMS Paper 1 will consist of General Medicine and Paediatrics with a total of 120 questions - 96 from General Medicine and 24 from Paediatrics. While paper 2 will consist of Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, and Preventive and Social Medicine. Each part will include 40 questions.
UPSC CMS exam 2024 will have negative marking. As per the UPSC CMS marking scheme, 1.3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer attempted in the examination.
UPSC CMS 2024 guidelines
- Candidates will have to carry their UPSC CMS admit card 2024 to the examination centre. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam without their hall ticktes.
- Candidates will have to carry a valid id proof along with them to the examination centres.
- Candidates must reach half hour before the commencement for the exam.
- Candidates are not allowed to bring any articles such as bags, books, notes, loose sheets, electronic or any other type of calculators, mathematical and drawing instruments, log tables, stencils of maps, slide rules, rough sheets pertaining to earlier sessions, any other incriminating material, and communicative devices among other things into the examination hall.
- Candidates will not be allowed to go to the toilet during the last 30 minutes of the test.
- Candidaes will not be permitted to leave the venue of the examination till the allotted time of the exam ends.
