UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Prelims result 2025 declared on upsc.gov.in

489 candidates have qualified for geologist posts, 194 for geophysicist, and 75 for chemist, will be eligible for UPSC Combined Geo-scientist Main exam 2025.
NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) examination 2025. Candidates can check their UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Prelims result 2025 on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
489 candidates have qualified for the geologist group A, scientist B (hydrogeology) group A, and assistant hydrogeologist group B posts. 194 have cleared the exam for the geophysicist group A, scientist B (geophysics) group A, and assistant geophysicist group B posts. 75 have been declared qualified for the chemist group A, scientist B (chemical) group A, and assistant chemist group B posts.
Qualified candidates will have to appear for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) exam 2025 which will be held on June 21 and 22.
The commission has issued the post-wise list of roll numbers of candidates who have passed the exam. “The candidature of these candidates is purely provisional at all the stages of the Examination subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. The candidates declared qualified are required to appear at the Stage-II i.e. Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2025 to be held on 21st & 22nd June, 2025,” it stated in an official website.
UPSC admit card 2025
Candidates will be able to download their e-Admit card for stage-2 exams around one week before the Mains exam.
UPSC informed that the UPSC Combined Geo-scientist Prelims cut-off 2025 and marks after the declaration of the final result. “No request for change of Centre/discipline for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2025 will be entertained under any circumstances,” it said.
The commission said that it has a facilitation counter at its campus, candidates can obtain any information or clarification regarding their exam or result on working days between 10 am to 5 pm in person or over telephone numbers 23388088, (011)-23385271 or 23381125 or 23098543 from the counter. Candidates may also mail their representations at usgeol-upsc@nic.in.
