Download EBookThe Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the facility for all candidates who qualified the Civil Service Examination - Main (CSE Mains) to fill and update the detailed application form for the personality test. It is mandatory for shortlisted candidates to upload documents and update details to be eligible for the interview.

UPSC CSE 2025 candidates should mandatorily fill and update details such as educational qualification status - whether appearing or appeared - along with the proof of passing certificate. They are required to upload all valid documents, failing which their candidature will be cancelled and the e-summon letter will not be issued. As per the UPSC CSE Mains result 2025 , a total of 2,736 candidates have qualified for the CSE Interview round.
The commission has instructed candidates to apply and make changes in the application through the official website, upsconline.gov.in, during the period from November 13 to 27, up to 6 pm.
During this period, applicants must indicate their choices in the order of preferences, only for those services “which are participating in the Civil Services Examination 2025 and for which the candidate is interested to be allocated to in case of eventual selection”.
UPSC CSE Interview: Edits allowed
Applicants will have to update or verify the following details during the UPSC CSE correction period.
- Correspondence/ permanent postal address
- Higher educational qualification
- Achievements in different fields, if any
- Employment details/ service experience,
- Details of the Service allocated on the basis of earlier/ previous Civil Services Examinations (if any),
- Marital status,
- PwBD recommendation details in past,
- Parental details,
- Debarment information,
- Earlier examination details,
- Attempt information,
- OBC/EWS certificate,
- Socio-economic questionnaire, if applicable.
Candidates who have already uploaded the required documents and have no information to update are also required to login and finally submit after verifying the details to generate the e-summon letter for the personality test.
