UPSC CSE 2025 interview scheduled on February 5 postponed due to Delhi Assembly elections

The Delhi Assembly elections 2025 will be conducted in a single phase on February 5 and the results will be declared on February 8. UPSC interview round will conclude on April 17.

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the personality test of Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE 2024) scheduled on February 5 due to Delhi Assembly elections 2025. A total of 48 candidates, who were called for the UPSC CSE interview on February 5 will now have to attend the personality test on February 8.

“Due to notification of Delhi Assembly elections on 05.02.2025, the Personality Tests of Civil Services Exam 2024 scheduled on 05.02.2025 will now be held on Saturday, the 08 Feb 2025,” the official notification read.
The Delhi Assembly elections 2025 will be conducted in a single phase on February 5 and the results will be declared on February 8. Candidates should also note that there is no interview scheduled for February 8.
The commission has already commenced the UPSC CSE interview round . A total of 2,845 shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview on the specified date between January 7 to April 17. Those allotted forenoon sessions will have to report at 9 am and those allotted afternoon sessions will have to report at 1 pm.
“The candidates appearing for Interview will be granted reimbursement towards travelling expenses for appearing in the Interview which will be restricted only to the Second/Sleeper class train fare (Mail Express),” the commission said.
The UPSC CSE 2024 final results will be declared after the completion of the interview round. The marks sheets of all the candidates will also be uploaded on the official website, upsc.gov.in, within 15 days from the date of publication of the final results and will remain available for a period of 30 days.
