Download EBookThe Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the time-table for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Main 2025 on the official website, upsc.gov.in. The commission will conduct the UPSC CSE Mains 2025 on August 22, 23, 24, 30, and 31.

As per UPSC CSE Main exam time table 2025, the test will be held in two shifts. The commission aims to fill a total of 979 vacancies including 38 for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), 12 for candidates of blindness and low vision; seven for deaf and hard of hearing; 10 for locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy; and 9 vacancies for multiple disabilities.
As per the UPSC CSE Main 2025 exam pattern, the exam will consist of a written test and an interview of personality test. The written exam will consist of nine papers.
According to the UPSC CSE marking scheme, there will be a negative marking of one-third marks for incorrect answers.
Candidates who qualified the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 will be eligible for appearing in the exam.
