NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will end the registration process for the recruitment of various nursing officers in Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) today, March 27. Interested candidates can apply for ESIC nursing officer recruitment 2024 through the official website, upsc.gov.in.
As per the notification, the recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,930 nursing officer vacancies in the department. The ESIC nursing officer written examination is scheduled to be held on July 7, 2024.

The eligibility criteria for the ESIC nursing officer position mandate candidates to possess a BSc (Hons) in Nursing or have completed a regular course in BSc Nursing, or post basic BSc Nursing from a recognised university or institute. Alternatively, candidates may qualify with a diploma in general nursing midwifery from a recognized board or council.

Apart from this, candidates must be registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife (registered nurse or registered nurse and registered midwife) with the State Nursing Council. Moreover, candidates are required to have at least one year of experience in a minimum of fifty-bed hospitals subsequent to completing a diploma in general nursing midwifery.
The screening process involves a written examination and authentication of documents. The test will encompass various subjects including Nursing Foundation, Nursing Management, Pediatric Nursing, Physiology, among others, with multiple-choice questions. The examination will be administered in English and is scheduled for July 7, 2024 for a duration of two hours.
