UPSC extends deadline for NDA, NA, CDS registration to June 20; exam in September

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date to apply for the National Defence Academy (NDA), Naval Academy (NA) and Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 exams 2025. Candidates can now fill the application form for the competitive exams till June 20.

Earlier, the deadline to apply for the NDA, NA and CDS 2025 exams was June 17. Candidates can submit their application form through the official website at upsconline.nic.in.

The commission will conduct the UPSC exams for various posts on September 14 and the admit cards will be issued tentatively on September 7, 2025.

As per the selection criteria, candidates will have to appear in the two stages of tests. Candidates, who will qualify the written test or stage 1 will qualify for the stage 2 exam.

The stage 2 of the UPSC competitive exam comprises interview, group testing officer tasks, psychology test, and conference. The commission will conduct the NDA and NA exam to fill a total of 406 vacancies, while CDS 2 will be held to occupy 453 posts.
