New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission has announced the addition of two new UPSC IAS 2022 centers for prelims examination in the state of Himachal Pradesh (Dharamshala and Mandi). The facility to change the UPSC IAS 2022 exam center window will start from March 3 to 7, 2022 and the second phase from March 10 to March 14, 2022 on the UPSC IAS exam center official website, upsconline.nic.in. UPSC IAS Prelims 2022 Exam Centres

While 77 examination centers were set up for the UPSC IAS prelims exam 2022, the number increased to 79 when the above two examination centers were added. Interested candidates can change their UPSC IAS prelims exam center at the official website. Selection centers will be allotted on the basis of the first allotment if they apply first. Selection centers will be allotted on the basis of ‘first-apply-first-allot’. Interested candidates are therefore advised to change the examination centers as soon as the examination centers are started.

How to change UPSC IAS exam centre 2022

  • Go to the official website of UPSC - upsc.gov.in.

  • Click on the link ‘Change UPSC IAS 2022 exam centre choice’ available under the ‘What’s New’ section on the homepage.

  • To log in, enter the UPSC registration number and date of birth to log in.

  • Enter your new choice for UPSC IAS exam centre 2022

  • Submit your choice

  • Download and take the printout of the UPSC IAS exam centre 2022 acknowledgment slip.

UPSC IAS vacancies 2022 details

Previously, The UPSC had increased the number of vacancies in the 2022 Civil Service exam. UPSC vacancies now stand at 1011 with 150 vacancies of Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS). There are now three posts with more than a hundred vacancies in the Civil Service Exam 2022.
