Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Mains 2020 result today at upsc.gov.in. The qualified candidates in the UPSC IAS Mains result will now be eligible to appear in the UPSC IAS interview. Post qualifying the UPSC IAS interview/ personality test, candidates will be recruited for the vacant posts released under the UPSC IAS recruitment.

All candidates who qualified the written exam of UPSC IAS Mains will have to fill the detailed application form (DAF). The UPSC IAS DAF will be available on the official website upsc.gov.in from March 25 to April 5, 2021. UPSC will intimate the candidates about the IAS interview/ personality test dates through their official website.
The exam conducting authority released the UPSC IAS 2020 notification on February 12, 2020, and the preliminary exam was conducted on October 4, 2020. The exam was delayed due to the COVID-19 lockdown which was imposed in 2020. The IAS Mains were conducted from January 8, 2021, onwards for five days. The IAS Prelims result was declared on October 23, 2020.
