New Delhi: The Union Public Services Commission is all set to conduct the Civil Services (Main) exam tomorrow. The UPSC IAS 2021 mains exam will be conducted in a pen and paper-based mode on January 7, 8, 9, 15 and 16. As per the released UPSC IAS exam schedule 2021 , the examination will be conducted in two sessions every day except day 1 (January 7, 2022). The first session will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.
As per the UPSC IAS mains exam pattern 2021, there is a total of nine papers in the examination. Candidates should obtain a minimum of 25% in their optional subject along with the other subjects. All languages covered in the 8th schedule of the Indian constitution will be taken into account for the language paper.
