UPSC IFS 2023 interview begins from April 22; 362 candidates to appear

NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the interview schedule for Indian Forest Service Examination (IFS) 2023 today, March 28. Eligible candidates appearing for the interview round can check and download the UPSC IFS exam schedule through the official website, upsc.gov.in.
As per the schedule, the UPC IFS interview 2023 will be conducted from April 22 to May 1, 2024. The commission has uploaded the roll number-wise list of the candidates who are eligible to appear in the UPSC IFS 2023 interview on its website.
Shortlisted candidates will have to report for the forenoon session at 9 am and for the afternoon session at 1 pm, UPSC said in the notification.
UPSC IFS Interview 2023: Eligible candidates
Candidates who have qualified the mains examination are eligible to appear for the UPSC IFS interview round. The personality test or interview round will be conducted for a total of 362 candidates. "No request for change in the date and time of the personality test (Interview) intimated to the candidates will be entertained", UPSC notification read.

The commission informed that candidates appearing for Interview will be granted reimbursement towards travelling expenses restricted only to the second, sleeper class train fare for appearing in the UPSC IFS interview 2023.
"The candidates have to submit hard copies, print out of tickets for inward and outward journeys, showing the details of fare along with the prescribed duly filled in TA claim form. The TA bill forms are available at https://www.upsc.gov.in/forms-downloads" the notification added.
IFS Main exam 2023 was conducted from November 26 to December 3, 2023 at various exam centres across the country. The result for the same was announced on January 13, 2024.
