UPSC civil services main examination will begin from September 20, 2019 hence in order to avoid certain commonly made mistakes by the students in examination, UPSC has released a 21 page document file which prescribes Do’s and Don’t in civil services main examination titled as ‘General mistakes in Conventional (Descriptive) Papers’.
Some of the mistakes illustrated in this document are:
1. Irrelevant matters written in QCAB (Question-cum-Answer Booklet)
Examines are advised not to write any irrelevant thing like
-
Religious name
-
Religious sign i.e
-
Religious number i.e 786
-
Religious slogan
-
Candidate’s name
-
Candidate’s roll number
-
Candidate’s signature
If any candidates by mistake write any such thing then don’t just cut rather than use whitener to completely erase it.
2. Use single Language only while attempting the paper
Candidates are advised not to use mixed language, either write attempt complete paper in English or in Hindi language only.
3. Answer should be written with only one modus operandi i.e either with pen or pencil, use of both these things is strictly prohibited.
4. Don’t appeal any thing with Examiner:
Candidates are advised not to request or appeal anything from examiner
5. Handwriting should be readable: Aspirants should ensure that writing should be readable
6. Write answers below the questions asked : Candidates are prohibited to write answers of any other questions under any other printed questions.
