The testing agency will host the objection window to raise a challenge against the JEE Mains 2026 provisional answer key between February 4 and 5.

The JEE Mains 2026 session 1 result for admission to engineering, architecture, and planning courses at various government and private colleges across the country will be declared on February 12.

Around 13 lakh candidates appeared for the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 exam between January 21 and 29 in dual shifts.

As per the student’s reactions, the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 papers were easy to moderate in difficulty level. The most challenging section in the paper was mathematics.

The testing agency has commenced the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 registration for BTech, BArch and BPlanning courses. The session 2 exam will be conducted from April 2 to 9 in dual shifts.

The morning shift will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, whereas the afternoon session will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 answer key along with the response sheet.

  • Go to the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, click on the JEE Main 2026 session 1 response sheet, answer key link.
  • A new window will open.
  • Enter JEE Mains 2026 application number and date of birth or password.
  • Press the submit button.
  • Question-wise status and selected option IDs will appear on the screen.
  • Download JEE Mains 2026 answer key and response sheet.

Is 70 a bad score in JEE Mains 2026 session 1?

A JEE Main score of 70 (around 70–90 percentile) is usually considered average to low for top NITs and IITs in the General category.
