UPSC NDA, CDS 2024 notification today at upsc.gov.in; eligibility criteria

UPSC CDS, NDA 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on April 21, 2024 at various examination centres across the country.
NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to issue the notification for National Defence Academy (NDA) and Combined Defence Services (CDS) today, December 20. Interested candidates will be able to apply for UPSC NDA, CDS 2024 through the official website, upsc.gov.in.

Candidates should note that the last date to submit UPSC NDA, CDS 2024 application form is January 9, 2024.
As per the schedule, the commission will conduct UPSC CDS, NDA exam on April 21, 2024 at various examination centres across the country.
Interested candidates must have passed Class 12 to be eligible for the NDA exam. For CDS, candidate must be a graduate of a recognised university. One must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering to join the Navy, whereas for the Air Force Academy one must have passed Physics and Chemistry in Class 12 along with a Bachelor’s degree.
For NDA, candidates must be 16.5 to 19.5 years of age while for CDS exam, candidates applying for Air Force and Navy must be between the 19 to 23 years and for Officers Training Academy, candidates must be 19 to 24 years of age.
UPSC conducts the CDS, NDA exam twice a year. The second phase of examination NDA and NA II and CDS II is scheduled to be held on September 1, 2024. The notification will be out on May 15, 2024.

Candidates can follow the easy steps given below to apply for CDS, NDA 2024 exam.
- Visit the official website, upsc.gov.in.
- Click on UPSC NDA or CDS I Examination 2024 link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where candidates will have to register.
- Once registration is done candidates can login to the account.
- Fill the application form and pay the application fees.
- Download and take a printout for further references.
