NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) conducted the first shift of the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) today. According to the UPSSSC PET exam analysis for paper 1, overall, the questions that were asked in the entrance test were moderately difficult. Some of the candidates were of the view that they were time consuming. Since the questions were moderately difficult, one can expect a marginal dip in the UPSSSC PET 2021 cutoff.

As per the UPSSSC PET 2021 exam analysis, questions from Indian History and Indian National Movement were easy, while those from Indian Constitution & Public Administration, Logic & Reasoning, Graph and table interpretation and analysis were a bit tricky. The overall difficulty level as per the UPSSSC PET analysis 2021 received was of mixed views.

The first shift was conducted from 10 AM to 12 PM. Candidates with UPSSSC admit card and valid photo ID proof were allowed entry. There was no change in the exam pattern and the question paper had a total of 100 questions in the UPSSSC PET exam. The UPSSSC PET questions were from sections such as History, Geography, General Science, English, Current Affairs etc.

As per the UPSSSC PET exam analysis, the questions that were asked were mostly of NCERT Secondary/Senior Secondary level.

UPSSSC 2021 Exam Analysis- Marking Scheme

As per the exam pattern of UPSSSC PET there was negative marking and 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer given by candidates. The question paper had multiple choice questions.
