UPTAC round 2 seat allotment 2026 out for BTech, BDes, MTech; accept seats by July 26

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has declared the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) round 2 seat allotment result 2026 for BTech, BDes and MTech (Integrated) programmes. Those who participated in the second round of counselling can check their allotment status by visiting the official website, uptac.samarth.edu.in.

Candidates satisfied with their allotted seat can choose the 'Freeze' option, while those wishing to participate in subsequent rounds for a better allotment may select the 'Float' option. Those who do not wish to continue with the counselling process can withdraw their allotted seat within the prescribed schedule.

AKTU conducts counselling on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Department for admission to various undergraduate and integrated programmes offered by AKTU-affiliated, and participating state universities. Candidates get admission on the basis of national-level entrance examination scores, including JEE Main, CUET UG, CUET PG and NATA, depending on the programme.

UPTAC Counselling 2026: Upcoming schedule

The Round 2 choice alteration and locking window was held from July 21 to July 22, 2026, followed by the seat allotment on July 24. Candidates allotted seats are required to complete the seat confirmation fee payment and submit their Freeze/Float option between July 25 and July 26, 2026.

Candidates are advised to complete all admission-related formalities within the specified deadlines. Those seeking better allotments can participate in the upcoming rounds as per the counselling schedule.
