Secretary, Exam Regulatory Authority, UP, Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi proposes to conduct UPTET 2020 on February 28
NEW DELHI: The Secretary, Exam Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh, Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, has given a proposal to the Uttar Pradesh government about conducting the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) on February 28 (last Sunday). The UPTET application form 2020 is likely to be released in online mode and the end date to register for the exam is expected to be in the second week of January.

About UPTET 2020
UPTET is conducted annually to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers for the government schools for classes 1 to 8. UPTET comprises two papers. Paper 1 of UPTET 2020 is for those candidates who aspire to teach classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 is for those who aim to teach classes 6 to 8. This year UPTET 2020 has been delayed due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation. In normal circumstances, the exam is conducted in the last week of December.
UPTET exam will be held in offline mode and the authorities will soon issue a notice for the same on the official website which is upbasiceduboard.gov.in
