UPTET 2021: UP CM issues Covid-19 guidelines; asks to check past record of exam centre

The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board has released the UPTET admit card 2021 online on the official website - updeled.gov.in. Exam on January 23.
NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister today reviewed the Covid-19 situation in the state and ordered the authorities to strictly follow Covid-19 guidelines for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET 2021). The exam which was postponed after the UPTET paper leak will now be held on January 23.
With just a few days left for the UPTET 2021 exam, the CM Yogi Adiyanath asked exam conducting authorities to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) systematically on January 23. He also instructed them to ensure that the Covid-19 protocol is being followed and masks, sanitizers, infrared thermometers are available at every center.

“While allocating the examination centre, definitely refer to the past record of the institute. Never make institutions with tainted/ suspicious image as the exam centre,” he said.
He further asked additional chief secretary home and ADG law and order, principal secretary basic education along with district magistrates, basic education officers and other officers related to the UPTET examination to investigate the arrangements through video conferencing before the exam.

The Uttar Pradesh chief minister’s office informed that 93.90% of people above the age of 18 years have received the first dose of vaccine in the state, while more than 59.20% people have taken both doses of Covid-19 vaccine. As of the last day, about 39℅ adolescents in the age group 15-18 have received the first dose vaccine and 4.09 lakh eligible people have also received the vaccine dose.

Recently, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board has released the UPTET admit card 2021 online on the official website - updeled.gov.in.
Over 19.99 lakh candidates were scheduled to take the UPTET exam 2021 on November 28, however, after the UP TET question paper leak on several WhatsApp groups, the government cancelled the UPTET exam.
