UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024: Registration begins for 535 posts; apply by March 14

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) has begun the online application process for recruitment to the nursing officer posts. Eligible candidates can apply for the UPUMS exam by visiting the official website upums.ac.in. The last date to fill out the UPUMS application form is March 14.

The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 535 nursing officer posts. The institute stated that the examination date will be published on its website after the registration process concludes.

Candidates from the unreserved (UR), other backward class (OBC), and economically weaker class (EWS) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,360. However, candidates from scheduled casts (SC), scheduled tribes (ST) should pay Rs 1,416 to fill out the UPUMS application form.

“After submission of the UPUMS application form, the details mentioned in each stage including candidate's name, category, date of birth, address, email, mobile number etc. will be considered as final and cannot be changed,” the official notice read.

UPUMS Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria given below to apply for the UPUMS exam 2024.

Age limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years old and 40 years old as on January 1, 2024. Upper age limit relaxations are applicable for reserved category candidates.

Educational qualification

• Candidates should have completed Bachelor of Science (BSc) nursing from an institute recognized by the Indian nursing council, state nursing council.

• Candidates should have a diploma in general nursing midwifery from an Indian nursing council-recognized institute.

• All candidates should be registered as nurses and midwives in the Indian nursing council to qualify for the posts.

• Visit the UPUMS official website upums.ac.in.

• On the homepage, click on ‘Nursing Officer Recruitment - CBT- 2024’.

• Complete the registration process and generate username, password.

• Fill out the application form, upload documents, and pay the fee.

• Download the UPUMS application form and take a printout for future reference.
