NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Government has postponed all college and university exams till May 15 amid rising COVID-19 cases.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said that a decision on conducting college, university exams will be taken in the first week of May.

Dinesh Sharma , through his official social media handle, said :”In view of the corona transition, the proposed examinations of the Secondary Education Council Prayagraj Board from May 8 to May 20, 2021 and examinations of universities and colleges have been postponed until May 15, in the context of the examinations, the next decision will be taken in the first week of May.”

The state government had earlier announced that the Class 10, Class 12 board exams conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) are postponed to May 20. The UPMSP board exams were scheduled to begin from May 8.
