NEW DELHI: The Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) will conclude the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2024 examination today, August 17. Eligible candidates should fill out the Uttarakhand TET 2024 application form through the official website ukutet.com.

The UTET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on October 26, 2024, in two sessions. UTET I will be held from 10 am to 12:30 pm, followed by UTET II from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Registered candidates will have the opportunity to rectify or edit their UTET application forms from August 20 to 22, 2024.

Candidates from general, other backward classes (OBC) are required to pay Rs 600 for paper 1 only, and Rs 1,000 if applying for both paper I and paper II. For scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), and persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), the fee is Rs 300 for paper 1 only and Rs 500 for both paper 1 and paper 2. The last date to make payment is August 19, 2024.

To qualify the UTET 2024 exam, candidates from the general category must achieve 90 marks out of 150, which equates to 60% of the total marks. Reserved category candidates are granted a 5% relaxation.
