NEW DELHI: The AP Government, Department of School Education will closed the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 registration window today, August 3. The AP TET 2024 registration process commenced on July 3. Interested and eligible candidates can fill up the AP TET 2024 registration form by visiting the official website at aptet.apcfss.in.
Candidates are required to pay the AP TET 2024 application fee to complete the registration. The AP TET 2024 application fee is Rs 750 for each paper. Candidates can pay the AP TET 2024 application fee in online mode through debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking.
The AP TET 2024 passing marks vary by category, unreserved category candidates need 60% or above, Backward Classes (BC) require 50% or above, and Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates must achieve 40% or above.

Candidates are required to have scored a minimum of 50% marks in four years of BA Ed/ BSc Ed
Or
candidates are required to have passed Bachelor’s of Education (BEd Special Education) (or) Bachelor’s of Education (BEd) course.

The duration of AP TET 2024 is 2 hours 30 minutes. The AP TET 2024 will consist of a total of 150 Multiple-choice-questions (MCQ)s. There will be two papers, paper 1 will consists of five sections: child development and pedagogy, language 1, English, mathematics, and environmental studies. AP TET 2024 paper 1 will comprise of 30 questions in each section.
Paper 2 will have five sections: child development and pedagogy, language 1, English, and subjects relating to the elected stream. The first three sections will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions, followed by 60 in the final section.
