VU Scholarship Focus: India key priority for expansion
The VU official announcement said that, at the centre of the offering is the university’s distinctive VU Block Model , an alternative teaching approach where students study one or two subjects at a time in intensive learning blocks, rather than juggling multiple subjects simultaneously. This model is designed to deepen subject understanding through focused learning, smaller class sizes, and continuous assessment.
Highlighting India’s importance in its global strategy, Monty Singh pro vice-chancellor (Global) and chief international officer at VU said, “India is a key priority for Victoria University as growing numbers of students seek globally recognised education and career-ready skills. The VU Block Model India Scholarship reflects our commitment to supporting talented Indian students by making international education more accessible.”
VU’s announcement added that with over a century of academic legacy and a global student base of nearly 52,000, Victoria University is positioning its India campus as a key hub for delivering internationally recognised programmes tailored to emerging industry needs.
