Virtual tours can deliver a better student housing experience: Report

NEW DELHI: University Living has recently released a report based on its recently conducted survey of over 1,000 respondents which revealed interesting insights into how technology can make the housing experience more seamless and convenient for students.
As per the report, 50 percent of the survey’s respondents said that virtual tours are the best way to enhance the student housing experience. This is primarily due to virtual tours offering a fair idea of the accommodation prior to the students booking and moving into the space.
Apart from this, 39 percent of the respondents felt that offering roommate-matching services would significantly improve their living situation. After all, one’s relationship with their roommate can determine how easy or difficult it can be to live in a place.

"The University Living’s report revealed that 6% of its survey respondents said that on-demand maintenance would go a long way in making their student housing experience better. Another 6% said that generative customer support is essential in upgrading their experience and making it more convenient", stated an official release.
