VITEEE 2024 begins tomorrow; dress code, things to carry

NEW DELHI: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will conduct the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2024 exam from tomorrow, April 19. The VITEEE 2024 exam will be held in different slots till April 30.

VIT has activated the VITEEE 2024 mock test link at, vit.ac.in. Aspirants can take the free VITEEE mock test online. The VIT mock test will assist candidates understand the VITEEE exam pattern, time management, and exam difficulty level.

Annually, VIT Engineering College administers the VITEEE examination for admission to undergraduate engineering programs within the VIT group of institutions, which include VIT University in Bhopal, VIT Chennai, and VIT-AP University in Amaravati.

VITEEE 2024 exam pattern

The VITEEE 2024 exam will be conducted in online mode. The duration of the VITEEE 2024 exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. There will be a total of 125 questions divided into 5 sections- mathematics, physics, chemistry, aptitude, and English. The mathematics section carries the highest weightage followed by physics and chemistry. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

VITEEE 2024 dress code

Candidates are advised against wearing caps, mufflers, or any headgear during the examination. Students are encouraged to opt for lightweight and comfortable attire to ensure comfort while writing the exam. It is recommended to refrain from wearing any form of jewelry or accessories.Candidates are prohibited from wearing goggles, heavy bangles, rings, stockings, bracelets, or any similar items.
