NEW DELHI: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has announced that VIT Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2025 will be held from April 21 to 25 tentatively for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered at all campuses. The last date to apply for the entrance examination is March 31, 2025. The application fee for VITEEE 2025 is Rs 1,350 which is non-refundable.
As per the eligibility criteria, students who have qualified or are appearing for Class 12 exams with 60% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics or biology (50% for reserved categories) are eligible to apply. The applicant should be a resident, Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card holder. Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2003 are eligible to apply for VITEEE 2025.

According to the VITEEE 2025 exam pattern, the question paper will comprise of 125 questions divided into mathematics or biology (40 questions), physics (35 questions), chemistry (35 questions), aptitude (10 questions), and English (five questions). The duration of the test will be two hours and 30 minutes.
Candidates will be awarded one mark for each right answer and zero for wrong answer. There will not be any negative marking.
VITEEE 2025 result will be tentatively declared on April 30 and the counselling process will begin in May.
