VITEEE Results 2023: Admission process for VIT BTech programmes. 

• Selection is based on the rank secured through CBT (Computer Based Test) VITEEE 2023.
• Selected candidates can participate in online counseling based on their ranking. They can give options for specific campus, programme and category of fees. Allotment will be based on the matching of the rank obtained and available options.
• Candidates with rank upto 1 Lakh are eligible for counselling to Vellore and Chennai campus.
• VIT will verify the eligibility of candidates after completing the tuition fee payment on or before the stipulated date. Candidates are required to produce documents on the day of coming to the campus or as and when asked for, by the Office of Admissions. Provisional Admission offered during counselling will be valid ONLY if the eligibility is fulfilled.
• In case of situation wherein the eligibility criteria is not applicable, the decision of the VIT will be final.

Jagadish Chandra Muduganti, VIT Andhra Pradesh registrar, said students from 125 cities nationally and 4 cities abroad appeared for the VITEEE 2023 engineering entrance examination. The VITEEE results 2023 will be available tentatively on April 26, 2023 in www.vit.ac.in and on the same day online counselling will commence.

As per students’ reactions, VITEEE April 18 exam was moderately difficult. Mathematics section was tough, while physics section was easy to moderate. In the mathematics section, questions from vector 3D, definite integration had the highest-weightage. Overall, the maths section was rated tough and lengthy by students.

VITEEE 2023 rank list will be prepared based on the percentile score secured by candidates in the entrance exam. VITEEE ranks 2023 will be intimated through SMS also. Candidates will receive the update on the registered mobile number. 

VITEEE 2023 commenced on April 17, 2023 and concluded on April 23, 2023. The test was conducted in three sessions daily, from 9 am to 11.30 am, 12.30 pm to 3 pm and 4 pm to 6.30 pm.

As per the exam analysis, VITEEE April 17 question paper was moderate in difficulty. Students told Careers360 that the difficulty level of VIT BTech entrance exam held on April 17 was “above mediocre level”. “VITEEE 2023 scheduled at Allahabad (Prayagraj) on 17-04-2023 is postponed to 21-04-2023,” the official website read.

As per last year’s VIT placement report, two students from the batch of 2023 received the highest salary package of Rs 1.02 crore per annum. A total of 951 recruiters participated and offered 13,380 jobs. The average salary package was at Rs 9 lakh per annum.

As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2022) ranking by the ministry of education, VIT was ranked 9th in university category, 12th in engineering, 10th in research and 18th in overall category.

VIT Admission 2023 process

The institute conducted the VITEEE exam 2023 for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The VIT question paper had five sections -mathematics, physics, chemistry, English and aptitude. Mathematics section had 40 questions, physics and chemistry had 35 questions each. English section 5 questions based on a comprehensive essay and aptitude had 10 questions.

This year, VIT conducted the VIT engineering entrance exam 2023 from April 17 to 23 at various exam centres across India and abroad.
