NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) will conduct the WBCS 2021 prelims exam on August 22, 2021, in offline mode. Candidates appearing in the WBCS 2021 exam must follow WBCS 2021 exam day guidelines. Failure to not follow the exam day guidelines and instructions might result in the cancellation of the candidature. Hence, before heading for the entrance test, candidates should be well versed with the important WBCS exam day guidelines.
In the latest WBCS notice, WBPSC also announced that the special metro will be available on Sunday for the students appearing in WBCS prelims exam 2021 . Candidates must wear a mask and follow social distancing norms at the WBCS exam centre.

WBCS 2021 exam day guidelines

As part of the WBCS exam day guidelines, candidates must carry with them the WBCS admit card 2021 or else they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Students must assemble all the documents and stationery items a day before to avoid rush on the WBCS exam day.

Use a safe mode of transportation to reach the WBCS exam centre. According to the WBCS exam day guideline, candidates are expected to arrive at least 60 minutes before the reporting time. The gates will be closed 10 minutes before the exam time.

If the photograph on the WBCS admit card is not clear, students must carry two passport sized photographs with them. The photographs must be the same as those uploaded during the WBCS application procedure.

Candidates are not allowed to exit the exam hall without handing over the OMR sheet to the invigilator.

According to the WBCS 2021 exam day guidelines, gadgets such as bluetooth, calculator, smartwatch, smartphones and others are not allowed in the exam centre of WBCS 2021.
WBCS 2021 COVID-19 SOPs

Students must carry the COVID-19 essentials along with them. The COVID-19 essentials includes a mask, personal hand sanitizer, transparent water bottle and ball-point pen.

No one is allowed to take off their mask during the WBCS prelims exam 2021.

Candidates should follow the social distancing guidelines.

If you are not feeling well post examination, isolate yourself as soon as possible and consult your doctor for tests.
The WBCS result 2021 for prelims stage will be announced on the official website tentatively by the first week of October 2021.
