NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) is scheduled to conduct the WBCS 2021 preliminary on August 22.Before the entrance test, candidates must be aware about the do’s and don’ts so as to avoid any hiccup on the day of the entrance test. Some of the important do’s and don’ts include carrying the WBCS 2021 admit card to the test centre, carrying their own stationery, following the COVID19 SOP etc.
The West Bengal Civil Services (WBCS) prelims exam 2021 has one paper which will be conducted in offline mode for all the applicants. Those candidates who are eligible to appear for the WBCS 2021 examination tomorrow have been issued the WBCS 2021 admit card. The WBCS hall ticket contains all the information regarding the do’s and don’ts during the WBCS exam.

Applicants must carry their own stationery to the WBCS exam center.
All the COVID-19 SOPs and exam day guidelines must be adhered to by candidates.
Candidates must wear a mask for the full duration of the WBCS 2021 exam.
They must carry their WBCS admit card 2021 to the examination centre along with an original valid photo ID card.
Applicants must reach the WBCS exam centre early to avoid any inconvenience.
They must fill the details in the WBCS prelims response sheet (OMR sheet) properly.
Carry your own sanitizer and drinking water to the examination hall.
Attempt the easy question first and then the tricky ones.
Stay calm and focused throughout the exam.
Do not leave the examination hall before time.
Do not carry any electronic device or gadget like mobile phone, smart watch, bluetooth device in the examination hall.
Remove all the restricted material as mentioned in the WBCS hall ticket form your possession.
Don’t be late for the WBCS 2021 prelims examination.
Do not try to talk to anyone or cheat.
Applicants must not stress themselves during the exam.
The West Bengal Public Service Commission conducts the WB Civil Service exam every year. The WBCS 2021 exam is being conducted to recruit qualified and eligible candidates for Group A and B posts in the different West Bengal government departments. The WBCS selection process has 3 stages - prelims, mains and interview. Those clearing all the stages will be recruited by the WBPCS.
