Appearing for WBJEE 2025 tomorrow? Know exam pattern, marking scheme, paper timings

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will conduct WBJEE 2025 tomorrow, April 27. The entrance exam will be held in two shifts – Paper 1 for mathematics will take place from 11 am to 1 pm and paper 2 for physics and chemistry from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Candidates can download the WBJEE admit card 2025 from the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. It will be mandatory for examinees to carry their admit card to the examination centre without which they will not be given entry to the exam hall.

The exam will be OMR-based and examinees will have to indicate their response to the questions by darkening the appropriate circle or bubble entirely with a blue or black ink ballpoint pen.

WBJEE 2025 exam pattern

As per WBJEE exam pattern 2025, the question paper will comprise Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) on PCM. There will be three categories of questions in each subject.

According to the WBJEE 2025 marking scheme, each question in category-1 carries one mark; while category-2 and category-3 questions carry two marks each. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 in category-1 for each wrong response and of 0.5 in category 2. However, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers in the third category.
