Download NowNEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has issued the provisional answer key, WBJEE OMR images, and response sheet today. Candidates have been given a two day time period till May 24 to raise challenge against the WBJEE answer key 2024 through the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. The WBJEE result date 2024 is also expected to be out soon.

Based on the objections filed by the candidates, the subject experts will review and prepare the WBJEE final answer key and results. Along with the results, the WBJEE counselling dates for admission to all undergraduate (UG) engineering courses in the participating universities will be announced.
The WBJEE exams were conducted on April 28 for paper 1 and 2 in two shifts. Paper 1 had questions from mathematics and paper 2 tested students’ knowledge in physics and chemistry.
For paper 1 mathematics section, category 1 carries 50 marks, category 2 carries 30 marks, and category 3 for 20 marks. Whereas, physics and chemistry section is held for 50 marks each. As per the marking scheme, 1/4th marks will be deducted in physics, 1/2th marks in chemistry, and no marks will be deducted in mathematics for wrong answers.
WBJEE marks vs ranks
Candidates appearing in both paper 1 and paper 2 will be eligible for a General Merit Rank (GMR) and a Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR). Such candidates may be considered for admission in all courses of engineering and pharmacy.
