West Bengal: RSS-affiliated ABVP will organise a self-defence training programme for female students from November 14 to 16 across the state
KOLKATA: The RSS-affiliated ABVP will organise a self-defence training programme for female students across West Bengal from November 14 to 16, its leaders said on Friday.
The programme will be conducted at college and university campuses across the state under 'Mission Sahasi', they said. The training will cover physical self-defence techniques and psychological preparedness to help participants handle difficult situations, they added.
In 2024, a similar training programme was held at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) complex in Kolkata and saw the participation of around 800 students.
