Download NowNEW DELHI: West Bengal Board will conduct the Class 12 and 10 exams in the month of July and August respectively, following the COVID- 19 safety protocols. The government announced that the exams will be held in their respective schools and no external examination centers will be allotted.

Approximately 8.5 lakh students are going to appear in the WB Board exam 2021 for Class 12, while nearly 12 lakh students will be appearing for the Madhyamik exams this year. The WBSC board exam 2021 will be held for major subjects for 90 minutes. The board will soon be announcing the WB Board exam 2021 dates.
“Class 12 board exams will be held in the last week of July, and Class 10 board exams will be conducted in the second week of August,” Chief Minister of Bengal, Mamata Banerjee said, as per the reports by NDTV.
The minister told the media, "We have decided to hold the secondary (Madhyamik) and higher secondary (Uccho Madhyamik) examinations... adhering to all COVID-19 safety protocols."
WBBSE Board exam 2021 for Class 12 was scheduled to be held from June 15 to July 2, 2021. And, the WB Board exam 2021 for Class 10 was to be conducted from June 1 to 10, 2021. However, the board decided to postpone the West Bengal board exam 2021 due to the rapid increase in the number of COVID cases.
Lately, the board has cancelled the Class 11 HS board exam 2021 due to the COVID-19 situation and other reasons. Earlier, students of Class 10 and 12 had been raising concerns over the exams on various social media platforms and asked the board for an update on the West Bengal board exam 2021.
