West Bengal Madhyamik 2024 result date soon; online mark verification ends on April 18
West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2024: The board will soon announce the WB Class 10th result date. Around 8 lakh students took the WB Class 10 board exam this year.

NEW DELHI: West Bengal Board of School Education (WBBSE) has started the online verification of marks for select Class 10 Madhyamik board answer paper 2024. Nearly 8.7 lakh students appeared in the WB Madhyamik board exam this year. The verification process has begun today and will end on April 18, the board said.
“Verification of marks of select candidates of Madhyamik Pariksha (SE) will be conducted online through the portal, wbbsedata.com. The verification process will commence from 6 am on April 16 and conclude at 2 pm on April 18,” the circular read.
The state has also instructed head examiners to ensure meticulous examination of answer scripts to ascertain accurate marking. Along with the notification, the West Bengal Board has also provided guidelines for verification .
WB Madhyamik mark verification guidelines
The WBBSE has issued the guidelines to be followed during the verification process.
- Access the official portal wbbsedata.com using designated credentials.
- The login process is the same as in "Online Marks Submission".
- Review the answer scripts of the selected candidates carefully, ensuring accuracy in marking.
- Any discrepancies or anomalies observed during the verification process with the given marks it should be rectified in the designated field in the website for immediate rectification.
- Complete the verification process within the stipulated time frame to facilitate timely declaration of results.

The WB Class 10 board exam 2024 was conducted from February 2 to 12. From this year, the board has started to streamline the online marks submission procedure. “You can enlist the support of 4 to 5 scrutineers suitable in helping you to navigate the online marks submission process effectively in due time,” the board said earlier.
