West Bengal NEET UG Counselling 2024: Round 2 registration ends today; detailed steps to apply

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) will close today the registration window for the second round of National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024 for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes. Eligible candidates can apply for West Bengal NEET UG counselling 2024 round 2 on the official website, wbmcc.nic.in.

While the registration window will remain open till 4 pm, candidates will be able to make fee payment till 12 midnight. Applicants are required to pay a counselling fee of Rs 2,000 to participate in the second round.

As per the counselling schedule, the verification of successful candidates will be done till September 14. The list of verified candidates will be issued on September 17 along with the seat matrix and the online choice-filling will begin on the same day.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to register for MBBS, BDS admissions 2024-25 in West Bengal government and private medical, dental colleges.

Step 1: Go to the official website of WBMCC, wbmcc.nic.in and click on ‘UG Medical & Dental Counselling’ button

Step 2: Now, click on ‘Candidate registration and Login’ link on the homepage

Step 3: For new registration, students are required to click on ‘New Candidate Registration’ for one time registration. An agreement page will appear on the screen. Read the conditions on the agreement page carefully and click on ‘I Agree’ to continue with registration.

Step 4: Provide personal information like roll number, application number, candidate’s name, mother’s name and date of birth as per NEET UG 2024 admit card and security pin as shown on the form and click on the “Submit” button. Enter the password as per password policy. The password must be typed and confirmed again in the relevant boxes and then the ‘Submit & Next’ button has to be clicked.

Step 5: Confirm submission. An OTP will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number and e-mail ID. Enter OTP and the security code, and click on ‘Verify & Final Submit’ button.

Step 6: Now, click on the ‘application form’ link. Provide the required information such as religion, category, and bank details.

Step 7: Upload a clear image of the cancelled cheque or bank passbook or online bank statement having account details and proceed to the next step.

Step 8: Select candidature type and preference for physical document verification centre from available choices.

Step 9: Fill in Class 10, 12 qualification details. In the next step, enter address and contact details.

Step 10: Preview the provided information and click on ‘Save and Final Submit’ button. Proceed for the payment of counselling fee and download the fee receipt upon successful payment. Download the candidate profile and take a print out.
