West Bengal Police SI registration deadline today; apply for 1,131 posts

WB Police SI Recruitment 2024: Candidates will be able to make changes in the application form from April 10 to April 16 at prb.wb.gov.in.
NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) will conclude the registration process for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) in armed and unarmed branches. Eligible candidates should fill out the WB Police SI registration form 2024 by visiting the official website, prb.wb.gov.in.
The WBPRB recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 1,131 sub-inspector posts in armed and unarmed branches. This includes 510 posts for the unserved (UR) category, 113 for economically weaker section (EWS), 248 for scheduled caste (SC), 68 for scheduled tribe (ST), 113 for other backward class (OBC – A), and 79 for OBC – B category candidates. Earlier the recruitment board notified a total of 464 posts which was later revised to 1,131 posts.
WB Police SI 2024 application form correction window will be open for seven days, starting from April 10 to April 16, 2024. Candidates will be allowed to make changes in the personal information (excluding permanent State, mobile number, and email ID) submitted in their application form.
To edit personal information, the candidates should provide either their application number or registered mobile number, along with their date of birth (DOB) as entered in the application.

WB Police SI recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria given below before applying for the WB Police SI recruitment exam 2024.
Age limit: Candidates age should be between 20 years old and 30 years old as of January 1, 2024. The upper age limit is relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.
Educational qualifications: Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or its equivalent.
Candidates from SC, ST, and female categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 20 to register for the WB Police SI recruitment exam 2024. Candidates from all other categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 270 for the same.
