When will NEET 2021 result be declared? What we know so far

NEW DELHI: More than 16 lakh candidates are waiting for their result of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET 2021 after the Supreme Court allows the National Testing Agency (NTA) to release the scorecards. NTA NEET results will be announced anytime soon at neet.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in.

NEET-UG result 2021 can be downloaded by entering application number, date of birth, password and security pin. The NTA had said that the NEET neet.nta.nic.in result is ready and the delay was due to Bombay High Court’s order.

Student starts Twitter campaign requesting NTA to announce NEET result

Three days after the decision of SC to declare NEET UG result 2021, 16 lakh candidates and their parents are still waiting for the results. Through a Twitter campaign like #declare_NEET_UG_results , aspirants are urging NTA and the education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan to announce the result.

UP Police asks NTA to hold NEET UG exam result 25 candidates

As per the reports, the Varanasi Police Commissioner has sent the complete bio-data of 25 students to the NTA. Uttar Pradesh Police has asked NTA to withhold the neet.nta.nic.in result 2021 of these aspirants who were involved in ‘NEET solver gang’. The police have collected the fingerprints of the candidates to match with the prints in the NEET application form 2021.

The members of the solver gang appeared for the NEET exam on September 12, 2021, instead of actual candidates and charged a heavy amount from them.

NEET 2021 result: SC allows NTA to release scorecards

The Bombay High Court had put a hold on the declaration of the NEET 2021 result while hearing the plea by two medical aspirants. However, the Supreme Court on October 26, 2021, said that the NEET result for around 16 lakh students can not be delayed.

As per the reports, the SC said in its decision that, “We will issue notice and stay the HC judgment. Let the results be declared as there are 16 lakhs students who are eagerly waiting for the results.”
