Will GATE 2021 be postponed?:Students upset about clash with university exams

NEW DELHI: As the GATE exam 2021 is approaching, students urge the authorities to postpone GATE 2021 through twitter and other social media platforms. While some of the students are demanding another attempt to appear in the exam, others are worried about clash of GATE 2021 with the university exams.

Amid all of this, students are still in a dilemma on ‘will GATE 2021 be postponed?’. Students opined that 2020 academic activities were interrupted by the coronavirus outbreak and GATE candidates were not an exception of the situation. As the academic session has been delayed for all, many university examinations are being held in February.

The student community is complaining that the authorities have become a blind eye toward GATE candidates of the 2021 session.

Postpone GATE 2021 on Twitter

Students are complaining lack of study notes and other hardships due to COVID-19 pandemic as referred in the tweet below:

There requests for GATE 2021 postpone by 1 or 2 months in order to allow students for a better preparation:

Due to sudden lockdown in the previous year and restrictions that followed, students still have stuff locked in the institute hostels as claimed by another student:

While some are eager with the question 'Is GATE 2021 postponed?', the authorities are time and again being requested to at least consider the matter once:

The GATE 2021 exam date is scheduled on February 6, 7, 13 and 14. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay released GATE 2021 admit cards for registered candidates on January 8 on the official website. However, the authorities seem to have not even considered the matter and thus, the picture is still not clear on GATE postponement.
