Woxsen University awards degrees to MBA, BBA, BDes students

Bhattaram Apporva Vaishnavi and Priya Dhatri Dammalapti were awarded the gold medal by Woxsen University for their performance in MBA.
NEW DELHI: Woxsen University organised the Annual Convocation Ceremony 2023 on Saturday. Graduating students, their parents, faculty members and several industry leaders participated at the event.
Bhattaram Apoorva Vaishnavi and Priya Dhatri Dammalapati won the gold medal in MBA for the year 2023. Umar Kayamkhani won the gold medal for BBA student while Vysyaraju Sri Bhuvana was awarded the honour in BDes,
Chief guest on the occasion, Mamtha Madireddy, head of HSBC India Global Service Centres, said, “Every student is at the cusp of the next stage of your life. You should recognise and accept that there will be ups and downs in the career. Learn to embrace both these aspects equally.”
Guest of honour at the ceremony, Sri Lakshmi Kodali, director of the Global People, ServiceNow, extended her wishes to the students and emphasised the crucial elements of a leader. She said, “One important pillar of being a leader is to have integrity. You need to do the right thing even when no one is watching.”
Praveen K Pula, chancellor of Woxsen University, said, “We are truly a global school. Today, I am proud to say that people are looking up to Woxsen University.”

The students were handed the degrees by the chief guest, guest honours and the university chancellor. Woxsen University, located in Hyderabad, is spread over 200-acre.
It offers programmes in the fields of business, technology, arts and design, architecture, law, liberal arts and humanities. It has more than 100 global partner universities and also boasts of a strong industry connection.
