XAT 2019 application process begins from August 20, apply till November 30

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 20: XLRI Jamshedpur has commenced the application process for XAT 2018 on August 20. The last day to apply is November 30, 2018. Pre Requisites for applying to XAT 2019

• Valid email address and mobile number

• Mark sheets of Class X, XII and Graduation

• Scanned photograph and signature of not more than 50 KB and 20 KB respectively

• Credit/Debit Card or Netbanking credentials

Now let us take a look at how to fill the application process of XAT 2019.

The first step is the register for XAT 2019, which will generate the login credentials. The information to be entered in the registration form include candidate’s name, date of birth, contact details and email id. The XAT ID and password will be sent to them by email and SMS.

In the next stage, candidates will have to login again with the credentials to fill the rest of the application form. XLRI Jamshedpur mentions, “Candidates are advised to fill the form carefully and verify the details before the final submission. No changes will be entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON. Candidate's Name / Father's Name / Mother's Name etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.”

Photo & Signature Upload Guidelines

• The photograph should be a coloured passport size one which should not be more than six months old

• The dimensions should be 200x230 pixels

• The format of the file should be .JPG or .JPEG

• For signature, applicants have to sign on a white paper with black ink pen

• The dimension of the signature should be 140x60 pixels

Payment of application fee

The application fee is Rs. 1700 for all candidates. Candidates applying for XLRI programmes need to pay Rs. 300 for each programme. The late fee for XAT 2019 is Rs. 2000 and the fee per programme is Rs. 500, if paid after the application deadline. After successful payment, an e-receipt would be generated.

The admit card will be released on December 20. XAT 2019 will be held on January 6, 2019, in computer-based mode. The result will be declared in the fourth week of January 2019.
