NEW DELHI: XLRI Jamshedpur is conducting XAT 2021 today in a computer based mode from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. XAT is being conducted in more than seventy cities across India. At the entry time, the authorities were found to follow strict covid-19 guidelines. Candidates were asked to maintain social distancing, wear masks and sanitise their hands. In addition to this, the temperature of the examinees is being checked at XAT exam centres and only those carrying XAT admit cards are allowed to enter the exam hall.

XAT 2021 Exam Day Prerequisites for Entry

Candidates who are appearing for XAT 2021 are required to follow the instructions given below:

  • Candidates have to carry the XAT admit card without which the entry into the examination hall is barred

  • Candidates appearing for XAT were required to arrive at least half an hour before the commencement of XAT exam.

  • Candidates must have duly filled self declaration form along with the admit card of XAT

  • Also candidates who are appearing for XAT exam 2021 are allowed entry only if they have a valid ID proof along with them. The list of IDs accepted in the exam centre are:
    • Aadhar Card

    • Voter ID card

    • PAN Card

    • Driving License

    • Passport

  • Candidates had to leave behind any personal belongings or electronic devices such as smartwatches, calculators, mobile phones, etc.

Covid-19 Guidelines followed strictly at XAT test centre

  • Candidates were made to follow social distancing in a line while entering the exam hall

  • Hand sanitizers were kept at the entry point so that candidates sanitize their hands before entering the XAT exam centre

  • Candidates were seen wearing face shields or face masks. Those without the masks were not allowed to enter the examination hall

  • The temperature of the candidates were checked with the thermogun and those with covid-19 symptoms were not allowed in the examination hall

  • Candidates were asked to carry their own sanitizers and transparent water bottle keeping in view the safety measures

About XAT

XAT is being conducted in a CBT mode and is of three hours duration. The medium of the XAT test is English language and consists of four sections namely Decision Making, Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and General Knowledge. XAT 2021 result will be declared on January 31, 2021 post which candidates will have to appear for selection rounds for final MBA admission.
